okay so this is me. I'm twenty two years old, I've just graduated from university and I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life. I currently live at home with my family and my adorable dog, just trying to figure myself out. I know for definite that I want to travel the world - there are so many incredible places out there, and so many wonderful people to meet, it seems impossible not to at least try to see it all in the life that I have. I'm going away in February to travel through India, Asia and Australia/New Zealand all by myself. When I've told people, they've called me brave for doing it alone, but I honestly haven't thought about it - I just thought it would be fun!
I love movies, particularly anything written/directed by Quentin Tarantino; he's pretty much the movie love of my life. Although there are many great actors, writing and directing can really make or break a movie. Although not a movie, Modern Family is some of the greatest writing I've seen on screen, and it's been my favourite thing to watch for years; I've probably seen every episode at least 20 times!
I also love books; I think that Hunter S. Thompson is amazing, and his writing style is something to envy, his books have conquered my shelves. Steven King is also amazing; I could read his books for days and not notice or care that any time had past. I love to write, and although I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'll never be able to write something as brilliant as them, they are definitely my inspiration for writing.
I love to cook, although I'm no expert I'm certainly not going to shy away from trying something different. I like to think that I am like this with every aspect of my life, and now I'm going to try to prove it to myself.
This blog will be the product of trying to get into writing again, whilst also trying to become more active, healthy & environmentally concious...
